In the Greater Montreal, the attractiveness factors of the life sciences ecosystem and health technologies are expertise, internal synergies (open and easy collaboration between the stakeholders of the ecosystem) and the innovation. The strength of an ecosystem is estimated by the visibility of its niches of excellence as well as their development opportunities. It is through these niches of excellence that partnership projects between industry, research and funding are possible.

In order to support the attractiveness of the life sciences and health technologies ecosystem of the region, Montréal InVivo has consulted various stakeholders of the sector and has developed pages showing the successes of these niches of excellence.
