Call for projects to fight COVID-19
The Government of Canada is calling for action! If you are a Canadian manufacturer or a Canadian company that can help Canada meet medical supply needs, your help is needed :
The Canadian Industrial Sector Mobilization Plan to fight COVID-19 directly supports businesses in order to rapidly increase their production capacity and by giving them the tools necessary for production chains to design products made in Canada that will help fight COVID-19.
The National Research Council of Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program will take advantage of its relationships with thousands of innovative Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises to challenge them to find original solutions to counter the COVID-19. The most promising solutions will be chosen in conjunction with Innovative Solutions Canada.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the Quebec Research Funds, Génome Québec is launching a call for research or innovation projects in order to meet the challenges raised by the COVID-19 pandemic.
To help in the fight against COVID-19, PROMPT calls on all the genius and wealth that exist within the research community and the entrepreneurial community of Quebec.

- Thanks to the Temporary Concerted Action Program for Businesses (PACTE), eligible businesses can benefit from financial support that allows them to compensate for the lack of liquidity associated with COVID-19. This new measure, incorporated into the ESSOR program, is aimed at companies in precarious situations or experiencing temporary difficulties. The main terms and the procedure for obtaining assistance are presented on the Investissement Québec website.
- Local investment funds represent the main financial tool for RCMs, set up to support businesses in their area.
- The City of Montreal invites businesses to call a dedicated telephone line (514-394-1793) to get answers on the city’s support measures and the various programs to which they have access.
