Context
This Project Committee ties in with initiatives in place or under development in Quebec’s health and social services network (RSSS) that support the integration of innovations. The Project Committee, co-directed with Oncopole is composed of Dr. Sylvie Lambert’s research team, health network partners, four pharmaceutical companies that are marketing the immunotherapy treatments available in Quebec, patients and their associations.
Project description
Montréal is particularly interested in tools to involve patients in their care trajectories and to provide them with the tools required to send in their health results from their real-life environment (patients reported outcomes through questionnaires or connected health devices). This innovative approach allows for a better understanding of health, more continuous follow-up and optimized treatment effectiveness. The learnings drawn from this project will allow the approach to be generalized to follow other frail patients.
